This checking fixture trim line tolerances of 2mm or greater shall be checked visually by the means of a groove or min/max scribe line the width of the tolerance unless otherwise specified.
The groove shall have a depth of 1 mm and filled with green paint and stamped with high visibility at intervals along its length with the tolerance range.

Trim line tolerances of less than 0.5 mm will require using some type of variable gauging, i.e., Datamyte, Digital Indicator with a Zero Block.
Feeler checks will require a feeler "fence" offset 5mm unless otherwise specified.
Scrape Fixture checks will require the slide surface to be cut at nominal unless otherwise specified.
Width of area for check shall be 20.0mm minimum.
The surfaces shall be stamped to correspond with the flush blocks.
